The Instituto Cervantes and the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at Harvard University will be organizing a Cervantes Marathon to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the publication of Part II of Cervantes' Don Quixote.
How to Participate:
If you would like to take part of this fun event, please go ahead and sign up to read a fragment from Cervantes' Don Quixote Book I and II. English and Spanish editions will be available on hand, but you are also welcome to bring your own. If you desire to read in a language other than English or Spanish, remember to bring your own text.
Note that the readings will follow the order on the list, each reading lasting between 3-5 minutes approximately to allow more people to participate in the event, so please remember to arrive at least 15 minutes before your reading time, and stay as long as you desire.
How to Sign Up:
To sign up simply select one of the 25 fragments from the list you will find in the Google Doc link provided bellow, then include your full name, email, and specify the language in which you plan to read. Also, included in this email is a PDF attachment with the full text in Spanish for all 25 fragments so you can look them over as you make your selection.
