Screening and Film Discussion 

Judith Colell, Spanish filmmaker and Vice-President of the Spanish Academy of Arts and Cinematographic Sciences, will be presenting her film "53 días en invierno" (53 days in Winter). Released in 2006, the film was a real surprise on the Catalan and Spanish film scene because of its unusual style and laconic narrative. This is a great opportunity to review the film and to talk to the director. The screening will be followed by a film discussion with Dr. Esther Gimeno (Boston College), and Dr. Eloi Grasset (Harvard University).Sponsors:  The Department of Romance Languages and Literatures and Observatorio Instituto Cervantes at Harvard and Institut Ramon Llull.  Open to the public.
