Pre-Texts: The Arts Teach (Everything)

In 5 sessions, new facilitators acquire skills to engage the arts and humanities for rigorous and enjoyable professional development in education. Teaching itself is an art that requires a protocol to be shared with students so they can have fun learning any subject. Texts turn into raw material for making art. This transforms difficulties from obstacles into creative challenges. With one “pedagogical acupuncture” --Make art from texts – we activate cognitive, emotional, and civic faculties.
