"Virtual Voyages: Cinematic Escapes through Foreign Landscapes” proposes a selection of films in French, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese that will allow us to travel to new destinations, featuring distinctive landscapes through the magic of cinema. Discussions will be in English (with the option of a separate breakout room for conversation in the original language of each film, depending on demand). We hope you can join us!

Winning the Jury Prize but booed by audiences at the Cannes Festival in 1960, L'Avventura went on to enjoy international success, cementing this art-house film in cinema history. According to Roberto Rossellini, "L'avventura è il più bel film mai presentato a un festival» / L’avventura is the most beautiful movie ever presented at Cannes or any festival."
