RLL Preceptor Claire-Marie Brisson launches website Le Sillage

Claire-Marie attended the Bok Center’s summer workshop series “Claude for Teaching, Course Development, and Research”, and she built an online research tool. Claire-Marie, Preceptor in French in the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures, has launched Le Sillage, a website in French and English where students read, transcribe, and map the written record of French North America. She designed and built the site in Claude Code. She created the site’s pedagogical design, exemplifying what a digital tool can do in a language classroom. The site, she notes, costs about the price of a latte per month to run.
