Congratulations to Prof. Lorgia García Peña, whose book The Borders of Dominicanidad has just been awarded the Gloria E. Anzaldúa book prize.  This prize is awarded for groundbreaking monographs that make significant multicultural feminist contributions to women of color/transnational scholarship.  The prize honors Gloria E. Anzaldúa, a valued and long-active member of the National Women's Studies Association.
