**Research Interests**: Adam Mahler is a doctoral candidate in Romance Languages and Literatures at Harvard University, where he specializes in medieval and early modern Iberian literature. His dissertation on environmental writing explores the links between poetic form and environmental exploitation in the non-modern Iberian world.

His articles have appeared or are forthcoming in *PMLA, Journal of Medieval Iberian Studies*, *La corónica*, *Hispanic Review,* and *Speculum*. He is the translator and editor of Camilo Pessanha’s *Clepsydra and Other Poems* (University of Massachusetts Press, 2022) and Shem Tov Ardutiel’s *Moral Proverbs and Other Old Castilian Poems of Jewish Authorship*, forthcoming with the Dumbarton Oaks Medieval Library at Harvard University Press.
