Research Interests: My research interests are in 20th century Latin American literature, art, and architecture. Specifically, I am interested in the theoretical and cultural history of play, including playgrounds and toys; in literary and artistic responses to modernist architecture from the 1940s onwards; in the cultural history of parks and urban green spaces; and in site-specific and environmental art.
