**Chiara Trebaiocchi** is Senior Preceptor at Harvard University, where she received her PhD in Italian Studies. Previously, she studied at the Scuola Normale Superiore and at the Università di Pisa for her BA and MAs. In her current role at Harvard, she coordinates the Italian language program, beginning to advanced language level courses, and she trains new graduate students and instructors. Her dissertation, *Reschooling Society: Pedagogia come forma di lotta nella vita e nell’opera di Franco Fortini*, was [recently published by Pacini Editore](https://www.pacinieditore.it/prodotto/reschooling-society/). She is also the Higher Education Co-Chair for the AP Italian Development Committee. Her research interests include: history of the Italian language; contemporary Italian literature; second language acquisition and language pedagogy. Her most recent works can be found in the NECTFL review, *Italica*, and the Fortini journal, *L’ospite ingrato*.
