Research Interests: The tre corone, the literary monument, Boccaccio’s vernacular and Latin prose, humor and laughter in medieval literature, and fiction and narrative in modern and contemporary literature.

Office Hours (Spring 2017): Wednesdays, 2:30-4:30 PM and by appointment  

Academic Degrees: B.A. from Middlebury College in Italian and Political Science,  A.M. and Ph.D. from Harvard in Romance Languages and Literatures (Italian).
