When do we start going to war with our country, and why? What did it mean to go to war from WWI to WWII and beyond, in Italy, before and after Mussolini? Italy’s leading actor Fabrizio Gifuni takes these questions on board as he presents his award-winning show Gadda Goes to War (Ubu Prize for Best Actor and Best Show) in this unique lecture-performance addressed to all those in the wider Harvard community with a keen interest in civic commitment, political theater and prospects of a better world.
The show had its sold-out British premiere at the Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh, as part of the Edinburgh Gadda Projects. To follow past and present synergies please visit: www.gaddaprize.ed.ac.uk
